Advisory Board Announcement: Antonius Salis

We are pleased to announce that Antonius Salis has joined the Advisory Board of ETA Club St.Gallen.

Antonius co-founded Pina Capital, where heis General Partner. The firm invests in search funds and entrepreneurialacquisitions, helping SMEs across Europe solve the succession challenge. Hebrings a valuable combination of investment banking, PE/VC investing andoperating experience to the ETA ecosystem.

Antonius began his career as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in London, beforestepping into the operator's seat of a renewable energy start-up. He thenjoined Rocket Internet, where he rose to Vice President Business Development,co-led Groupon's international online marketing, served as country head ofFoodpanda and co-founded the real estate platform Lamudi.


Building on his operational experience, Antonius moved into investing, firstwith the Lucerne-based family holding Porterhouse Group and later as Principalat Redalpine, where he backed companies such as ENVIRIA, Mistral AI and natif.ai.Over almost two decades as an investor and operator, Antonius also ledbuy-and-build and digitalisation programmes.

In 2025 he founded Pina Capital together with Dr. Thomas Wetzer. Recognisinghow difficult it still was for investors to access search funds, they set up afund that opens this asset class to a broader investor base. Within its firstyear, Pina partnered with more than 25 searchers across Europe and is currentlyclosing its third acquisition.

Antonius holds a lic. oec. from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) andcompleted an exchange at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina inBuenos Aires.
