Advisory Board Announcement: Dr. Torben Antretter

We are proud to welcome Dr. Torben Antretter to the ETA Club Advisory Board.

Torben is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the University of St.Gallen and an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance at IE Business School. His research and teaching focus on entrepreneurial finance and the application of artificial intelligence in entrepreneurship.

Prior to his current role, Torben founded the LegalTech company RightNow in 2016. The Financial Times ranked it among Europe's fastest-growing companies in both 2021 and 2022, and it has since been profiled in three Harvard Business School case studies. In 2020, Forbes named Torben to its "30 Under 30" list of influential young entrepreneurs.

Torben holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of St.Gallen, where he also completed his habilitation in 2025. His research has appeared in top-tier journals, and he is a contributing author to the leading textbook on Entrepreneurial Finance, published by Cambridge University Press. He also sits on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, a research community of professionals whose input helps shape the content of Harvard Business Review.
